I seem to get more queries about the Email<\/strong> notifier than any other feature. Usually, it comes down to not filling in all of the fields, or setting the wrong authentication.<\/p>\n

So the first thing I\u2019d recommend is checking that both the To<\/strong> and From<\/strong> address fields are filled in with valid email addresses.<\/p>\n

If that doesn\u2019t help, check that the Outgoing Mail Server<\/strong> is correct in the Email Transport Options<\/strong> panel \u2014 if you use iCloud, make sure you enter just \u201csmtp.icloud.com\u201d (without the quotes), and not the colon and username following.<\/p>\n

If still not working, try each of the Authentication<\/strong> options in that panel, with the appropriate User Name<\/strong> and Password<\/strong> entered. Also try turning SSL<\/strong> off.
